MISSION
OBJECTIVES
GOALS
HISTORY
To develop, promote and protect businesses in the Southeast Dallas area and to support the advancement of education and economic growth in the southern sector of Dallas. The Chamber shall serve as an advocate and business resource creating forums for discussing the issues and finding solutions for the challenges facing Hispanic businesses.
Develop small businesses and entrepreneurs by providing education and enterprise tools for successful ventures.
Support the advancement of education for individuals and community.

Excellence in management, procurement, and operations practices.
Enterprise based on values consistent with our members, corporate sponsors and community
Education rooted in culture and heritage growing and evolving our community.

Mr. Ralph Castro, past president (2007-2009) and founder of the SEDHCC was born and raised in Pleasant Grove when it was predominantly a white community. Today, the southeastern area of Dallas has boomed, and its population is more than 50 percent Hispanic. Mr. Castro's paint and body shop, along with a plethora of small Hispanic businesses, has prospered.

The SEDHCC believes that in order for Dallas to become a premier international city and leader in a 21st century economy, it must first develop the southern sector including Pleasant Grove. The Pleasant Grove area of Southeast Dallas is primed for economic development with more land mass and population growth than any other neighborhood in greater Dallas.
